October is my hands-down favorite month of the year and not only because it hosts my favorite holiday, Halloween, my wedding anniversary (four years!), the one-month anniversary of adopting these little nuggets (meet five-month-old sibs Ernie and Rosebud) AND my birthday -- tomorrow, October 2nd, a natal date I proudly share with Mahatma Gandhi as well as Sting, Groucho Marx, and Annie Leibovitz. Good company!
An early birthday prezzie arrived -- the release date for the audiobook edition of STARDUST! The second book in my American Songbook series, STARDUST will release December 29th worldwide everywhere audiobooks are sold, so save those Christmas and Hanukah gift cards to snag it once it's out.
By far, the best birthday gift any author can receive is for readers to buy her book, so if you've already purchased IRISH EYES and STARDUST, big, smoochy thank you! And if you have read and enjoyed them, or any of my books, please take two ticks and post a review on Amazon or Goodreads. You'll be helping more readers to discover my work!
Cozy Season is here, which means more time to curl up and read a good book. If you'd like me to visit your book club, either in-person or via Zoom, contact me here.

Hi Friends, May was mostly a writing month for me punctuated by reading and Netflix. I absolutely adored The Widows of Malabar Hill, the launch of Sujata Massey's "Perveen Mistry" mystery series set in 1920s Bombay and centered on a lady lawyer-cum-sleuth. Further to female lawyers in history, I binged all three seasons of "The Law According to Lydia PoΓ«t," a...
